Farooq Ansari Meets NY Times Bestselling Author Wes Moore

Farooq Ansari had the privilege of meeting Wes Moore, a social entrepreneur, television producer, political analyst, and decorated US Army officer, during the NSLA "Summer Changes Everything" Conference. He is the author of The Other Wes Moore and The Work, both of which are New York Times Bestsellers. Farooq met him following his keynote presentation during the first day of the conference, and they discussed the issues facing our K-12 education system and the critical importance of summer education. Farooq also received an autographed copy of his bestselling book The Other Wes Moore. Moore commended Farooq and his club for its purpose and the steps that it plans to take to raise awareness about and directly combat the summer learning gap.
